Terri Turner

Terri Turner has over 20 years of experience in the health and wellness field. She uniquely helps clients choose and maintain a positive attitude, increase confidence, maintain a high level of self-motivation, set high and realistic goals, manage anxiety, regulate emotions, use mental imagery, and maintain focus. Adopting a holistic approach to performance, she considers all facets of an individual to assist them in overcoming obstacles that prevent them from achieving their maximum potential. Her goal is for you to learn how to succeed and lead a fulfilling life, no matter the challenges you encounter.

 

She holds a master’s degree in Exercise Science & Health Promotion, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Sport Psychology, and multiple certifications such as Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC), Nationally Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, as well as expertise in Prenatal and Postnatal Fitness, and Youth Fitness. Adopting a holistic approach to wellness, she considers all facets of an individual to assist them in overcoming obstacles that prevent them from achieving their health and fitness goals. Her desire is for you to learn how to succeed and lead a fulfilling life, no matter the challenges you encounter.

Jamal Baptiste

Jamal Baptiste holds a Master's in Exercise Science and is quadruple certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Performance Enhancement Specialist, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and a Master Trainer and well as Certified in Functional Movement Systems, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Associaition, is Precision Nutrion Level 1 Certified and is a certified USA Weight Lifting Sports Performance Coach.

 

 He has over 15 years of experience. In 2018, Jamal worked with provincial and Chinese Olympic long speed skaters in preparation for the 2018 Winter Olympics, in 2019 was the WNBA's Atlanta Dream Strength and Conditioning Coach and has worked with professional track athletes for Adidas, Puma, and Team USA.

Alexandria Krumrai

Alexandria Krumrai believes in a holistic approach to health and wellness, emphasizing that true transformation comes from combining all aspects of fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle. Her philosophy centers on creating balance and sustainability, guiding individuals to develop healthier habits that support their unique goals and long-term well-being. For Alexandria, wellness is about more than physical appearance—it's about building confidence, cultivating joy, and living a healthier, more vibrant life.

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology-Allied Health from Winona State University in 2018. She is also certified as a Personal Trainer (CPT) and Certified Nutrition Coach (CNC) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Committed to continuous growth, she actively pursues additional certifications and education to stay at the forefront of the wellness field.

A former professional water skier and member of Team USA, Alexandria’s athletic background has shaped her passion for movement and performance. Her extensive experience as a gymnastics strength coach, paired with her personal journey as an elite athlete, allows her to connect with clients of all levels and inspire them to reach their fullest potential in health and wellness.

Tamarick Hardee

Tamarick Hardee has earned a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology with emphasis in Exercise Science and is double certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as and Exercise Physiologist and in Exercise Is Medicine. He has a passion for health and wellness and that passion has allowed him to help numerous individuals, from cardiac patients to elite level athletes.

Alex Cardenas

Alex Cardenas has been a dedicated personal trainer for the past 12 years, helping individuals of all ages and fitness levels achieve their fitness goals. His expertise includes developing individualized training and nutrition plans, incorporating a variety of training methods and ensuring safety and proper form. He has a deep passion for coaching and mentoring both athletes and clients, fostering a positive and supportive environment while emphasizing the importance of hard work and discipline.

 

He holds certifications as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Certified Nutrition Coach, Level 1 Precision Nutrition Certification, NSCA Strength and Conditioning Certification, ISSA Speed and Agility, and a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of Iowa. I also serve as a high school football and soccer coach. He differentiates myself from overly enthusiastic trainers by preferring a balanced approach, tailoring sessions to the individual pace of my clients while encouraging them to surpass their goals. Recognizing the challenges of working out, I alleviate the burden by guiding clients through a smooth transition and imparting fundamental strength training principles.

Chelsea Cooper

Chelsea Cooper is a dynamic wellness advisor with 20 years of experience helping clients achieve lasting, whole-body health. With a holistic and client-focused approach, she blends fitness, nutrition, and mental well-being to create sustainable, life-enhancing habits. Specializing in women’s health—especially during midlife—Chelsea empowers her clients with education, personalized strategies, and compassionate support to navigate this transformative stage with confidence.

 

She holds a BA in Human Development and a Master’s in Public Policy & Administration, along with top industry certifications, including National Association of Sports Medicine, National Strength and Conditioning Association, Functional Movement Specialist, and 200YT Yoga. Passionate about real, lasting change, Chelsea is dedicated to helping her clients build vibrant, fulfilling future.

Garrett Stangel

Garrett Stangel earned his Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and has a Master's in Education. He is triple certified by the American Council on Exercise as a Personal Trainer, a Medical Exercise Specialist, and a Certified Health Coach and is double certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as an Exercise Physiologist and in Exercise is Medicine Level 2.

He believes that the greatest moments of our lives are when we are challenged to the limits of our capabilities. As a health and performance coach, his mission is to help you to clarify your vision of your best self and challenge you to take action through exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle modification. Sam Zanders

Sam Zanders has over 18 years dedicated to the fields of health and human performance, Coach Sam Zanders Jr. offers a wealth of experience that caters to a diverse range of populations. Whether working with individuals managing chronic conditions, those just beginning their fitness journey, or elite athletes striving to push their limits, Mr. Zanders is committed to making a difference.

He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is also a Functional Range Systems (FRS) Mobility Specialist and has obtained double certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Furthermore, he holds a Level 1 coaching certification from USA Weightlifting and is quadruple certified by the National Sports Performance Association. He serves as the state director for the National Association of Speed and Explosion as a Certified Speed Specialist. Currently, he is continuing his education as a Ph.D. candidate

Jen Anderson

Jen Anderson utilizes a holistic approach incorporating fitness, nutrition, and personal resilience to assist client's in their own individual transformation.

She is certified by the National Board of Health & Wellness Coaches, is Precision Nutrition Certified and has earned a Bachelor's Degree from MIT College of Business. She worked as a Paralegal for 15 years, after moving from California to Texas and began a new journey. It started with becoming a Certified Group Fitness Instructor and then Certified Nutrition Coach. Curious to add more meaning to wellness she became a Certified HeartMath Mentor for building personal resilience. Jen enjoys working with others to help them become the best versions of themselves.

Julian Bartholomew

Julian Bartholomew earned in Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training and holds a Master's Degree in Health and Human Performance. He is Certified by the United State Weightlifting Association as a Sports Performance Specialist and by the Athletics and Fitness Association of America as. Personal Trainer.

He has over 15 years of experience and is a two-time Louisiana State Powerlifting Champion. He works with individuals of all ages and fitness levels, from athletes to seniors and is passionate about helping people improve their physical and mental health, performance, and quality of life.

Oladipo Olatunde

Olatunde Oladipo earned a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and now has several certifications in exercise and nutrition to go a long with it. He is quadruple certified by the Internation Sports Science Association as an Elite Trainer, a Strength and Conditoning Specialist, a Nutritionist, and a Personal Trainer and triple certified by the National Association of Sports Medicine as a Personal Trainer, Performance Enhancement Specialist, and Strength Training Specialist.

 

He believes fitness, exercise, and nutrition should be a way to reduce stress - not add to it! The  education and experience he has cultivated allows him to work with people of any physical ability or with any health condition.

Our Founders

Dr. Landen Green

Dr. Landen Green is a board certified family medicine physician. He holds multi-state licenses and currently has a successful private practice, Direct Primary Care clinic, in Southern California - Caravel Health DPC.

 

He knows the key to healthy life is sustainable healthy lifestyle habits.  Unfortunately, his time was mostly spent managing medical conditions and not enough time is allowed for consistent conversation and guidance about the importance of exercise and nutrition. This is what lead him to Direct Primary Care in the first place, and what has forged the concept of Direct Fitness Collab.

 

Direct Fitness Collab was created to help patients more consistently, more thoroughly, and more comprehensively discuss sustainable healthy lifestyle practices and to help doctors, specifically Direct Primary Care doctors, the ability to remind their patients of healthy lifestyle habits, rather than form one-on-one plans and worry about frequent follow up. After all, while most of us physicians are fully capable of prescribing exercises and providing nutrition recommendations, that's not the main thing we learned in our training.

 

His passion for medicine was first triggered by a passion for sports. He quickly realized his dream of becoming a professional athlete was… improbable at best and thus led him into athletic training. Planning to be a professional team sports medicine provider, a longing to learn more about medicine provoked a career change and he never looked back. Now, his passion is making a genuine, personal connection with his patients while creating life-long and generational relationships through providing expectational health care. Through DPC, he hopes to bring the old-school family medicine doctor into the modern world. Now, with Direct Fitness Collab he hopes to have a dream full circle and assist with health at its core - exercise and nutrition.

Daniel Harris

Daniel Harris was born and raised in North Carolina. He grew up playing any sport possible and was always into bettering himself every chance he could.

 

His passion for sports and athletics led him to East Carolina University and there, he earned a degree in Exercise Physiology. He’s worked with many different clientele in his career and understands the importance of personalized fitness instructions and nutrition advice. He has worked with professional and collegiate athletes, student athletes in high and middle school, retirees looking to kick it up from silver sneaker, and patients with multiple medical conditions.

 

His goal is to be exactly what you need to move to the next level of health. He loves understanding how each client's unique life and daily patterns influence their health and overall fitness. Then, creating a plan that is curated specifically for them.

 

His continued pursuit of bettering his health and the health of his clients has introduced him to many different training methods along with multiple diet and nutrition programs to improve his clients’ wellness overall.
